TRAVEL STORY: UTEKRAVALLEN ACTIVITY WEEK, LINKÖPING

Danny Brus, Utekravallen Activity Week

The 17th of May was the day that I departed from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to go to Utekravallen Activity Week in Linköping, Sweden. After arriving at the smallest airport I’ve seen in my life, I walked to the city centre to meet with some old friends I met during Carnaval Activity Week 2018. Together we walked in the city looking for a liquor store to get some booze. Then we went to the campus of the university to eat something and of course drink something. In the evening it was time for the Special Beer Festival named Ölstopet, where we had many different kinds of Swedish beer and food. Some people had some problems to reach the festival, including Adam because he was too drunk to enter. Despite that the evening was really cool and the vibe was good. The next morning we woke up, all with a big hangover, and went to a fast food restaurant to become ready for the day. Of course we did some shots and drunk some beers to get in the right mood. It was the big day of the event, because we were preparing for the big festival Utekravallen 2018! I have to tell you that I don’t really remember what happened before the festival, but I remember that some pretty Swedish girls brought me back to the group. Then we walked randomly through the forest to end up at Utekravallen. It was a really big party with many different stages and enough opportunities to get some beer. The music was really good and included EDM, trance and many Swedish songs. The last day we tried to recover from the day before, and got ourselves some pizza. After it we played some beach volleyball and ended with a barbeque and party at a student club. I enjoyed my time there and want to thank LG Linköping and all the participants for the amazing week I had!
