Every year in April or May, the starting gun sounds for the largest relay race in the world: the Batavierenrace. The 51st edition of the Batavierenrace will start on Friday evening, April 28, 2023. The route runs from the center of Nijmegen, through Germany, the quiet Achterhoek and the Oude Markt in the heart of Enschede to the campus of the University of Twente.

The finish of the Batavierenrace around 6 p.m. is followed annually by the largest student party in the Benelux on the campus of the University of Twente in Enschede. An estimated 13,000 students go wild at various locations on campus! Whether you are a sportsman or a hard partier, the Batavierenrace is there for everyone! No running experience is required. We will join with two teams of 25 people.
