Committee Subscriptions Q1

The new committees for Q1+Q2 will soon start. Do you wish to develop your organizational skills, add value to Industria and help organize great events for other students? Then make sure to apply for a committee!

Most committees will take around 1-2 hours a week, and you will form great connections with the other committee members. If you have any questions about doing a committee, you can always ask the board for more information!

SCOPE
Target group/year:  All students
Duration:                Continuous

Our magazine the SCOPE is looking for editors! Write articles and interview companies such as ASML, AME, Foot Locker and DPD. We are also looking for new people in the layout and photography section. Are you creative and would you like to improve your InDesign, Illustrator or photography skills? Apply now! No prior knowledge required.

PromoCie
Target group/year:  All students
Duration:                Continuous
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

Do you have an affinity with promotion, marketing and design? Are you experienced with Affinity, or are you willing to learn the ins and outs of this design? Join the PromoCie. As the promotional team, you will be responsible design of posters & flyers and ensure that all Industria’s promotional channels look stunning. Are you the creative type that is not scared to try something new? Then the PromoCie is exactly something for you!

Carnaval Activity Week
Target group/year:  All students
Duration:                October – February
(Time: ± 2 hours per week + Carnaval)

Do you like to celebrate Carnaval and do you like to organise events? Each year 20-30 European Industrial Engineering students visit Eindhoven to have the Carnaval Experience. You will organise a week in which you show them ‘the Dutch culture’. Together with the committee and many others, you show international students how Carnaval should be celebrated!

Yearbook
Target group / year:  BSc2 & BSc3
Duration:                  September – July
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

The yearbook committee designs and assembles the yearbook of Industria. The yearbook is revealed in October and is the perfect collection of memories for all members of Industria.

Master Study Club
Target group / year:  MSc
Duration:                   September – July
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

The Master Study Club, more commonly known as MSC, organises a number of study related events for Master students.

Master Leisure Committee

Target group/year: MSc
Duration:                September – July
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

The Master Leisure Committee organizes leisure activities for all our Master students. Do you want to organize a fun leisure activity for all your fellow Master students to help them relax during their studies? Join the MLC!

 

Company Tour
Target group / year:  BSc2
Duration:                    September – March
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

The Company Tour committee organize this 3 day during trip to a city in Europe. During this trip, a group of second-year bachelor students goes to a city in Europe. As a committee member, it is your task to organize this trip with both company visits and cultural activities.

 

TBKx
Target group / year:  BSc3 & (Pre-)MSc

TBKx is our very own TEDx inspired event in collaboration with our alumni association Alumnia. Find “ideas worth spreading” and start spreading them!

 

CIA – Committee of Internal Activities
Target group / year:  BSc2 & BSc3
Duration:                    September – July
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

The CIA organizes activities for active members of Industria to thank them for their work during the past year. You have all the freedom to come up with great activities for next year.

 

Orientation Weekend
Target group/year:  All students
Duration:                October – February
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

Do you want to guide new exchange students around Eindhoven and get to know them? Every semester new students from all over the world will come to Eindhoven to study for a half a year. The Orientation Weekend is for these students to get to know Eindhoven and each other. So do you want to organise a weekend of fun activities? Then join this committee!

 

ICT committee
Target group/year:  All students
Duration:                Continuous

The ICT committee is an ongoing committee which takes care of all ICT related tasks for Industria, for example, the beautiful website you are visiting right now! Multiple new projects will be started in the coming year, therefore we are looking for enthusiastic new members.

 

Industria Weekend
Target group / year:  BSc2 & BSc3
Duration:                    September – May
(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

The Industria Weekend is a weekend full of fun activities for all members of Industria, both active and not active members. Your creativity will make sure the weekend will be even better than before.

Lean Six Sigma Committee

Target group / year: BSc2, BSc3 & (Pre)masters

Duration:                   October – March/April

(Time: ± 2 hours per week)

Do not let this serious sounding event mislead you. During the Lean Six Sigma event you will not only help in organizing an amazing training to students from all over Europe but also show students the amazing student and night life of Eindhoven!

 

OML Council
Target group / year:  Starting master September 2020
Duration:                    September – July
(Time: ± 4 hours per quartile)

The OML Master Council gives feedback on the courses in the master program Operations Management & Logistics. The OML Council students discuss this feedback directly with the program director each quartile and is used by the faculty to improve the quality of education.

 

IM Council
Target group / year:  Starting master September 2020
Duration:                    September – July
(Time: ± 4 hours per quartile)

The IM Master Council gives feedback on the courses in the master program Innovations Management. The IM Council students discuss this feedback directly with the program director each quartile and is used by the faculty to improve the quality of education.
