Introduction Week
Duration: February – August
Time effort: 2 hours per week
Who: 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students
The Introduction week of the TU/e, the best beginning of your student life. During these days you will get to know the students of Eindhoven and in particular, the faculty of Industrial Engineering and Industria. The Intro Committee will take care of organizing the activities of Industria in the introduction week, this includes the business case on Monday, the famous Tentfeest, the information stands and games afternoon! Will you show new students how awesome Eindhoven is?
ICT Committee
Duration: Ongoing
Time effort: 1 hours per week
Who: all students
Do you have affinity with IT and would you like to maintain and improve the IT facilities of Industria, such as the server and the website? Then this committee is a great opportunity to do so! This can be combined with evolving your knowledge and creativity on IT. You will get a lot of freedom to choose what you want to achieve with this committee, creativity is valued!
Introduction weekend
Duration: February – September
Time effort: 2 hours per week
Who: 1st year students
In the beginning of the year the Introduction weekend is organized, this way first year students are able to get to know each other. The committee will create the program for the weekend. Think about organizing games and challenges for during the day. Besides this you will also organize the parties in the evenings. Will you organize a great weekend for 50 first year students?
Public Relations Committee
Duration: Until June
Time effort: 2 hours per week
Who: all students
Do you have creative ideas for a poster, InDesign skills or just a creative mind? Industria-Interactie is looking for enthusiastic students who want to highlight the opportunities students have abroad. Are you creative and passionate about travelling or do you just want to learn how to design? Join the PR-team.
Business Trip
Duration: February – November
Time effort: 2 hours per week
Who: 2nd year students
Organize an interesting trip to a top location in a foreign country. The Business Trip is an educational trip in which study, career, international and leisure are combined in a great way. Would you like to organize an interesting mix between company visits and cultural excursions? Apply for the Business Trip committee!
SCOPE
Duration: Ongoing
Time effort: 2 hours per week
Who: all students
Our magazine the SCOPE is looking for editors! Write articles and interview companies such as Unilever, AkzoNobel and Coolblue. We are also looking for new photographers. As a photographer you accompany an editor in an interview and take a couple of pictures afterwards? These pictures can really make a good article into a great article! Apply now! No prior knowledge required.
Gala
Duration: February – December
Time effort: 2 hours per week
Who: 1st and 2nd year students
Would you like to dine and party in style? Then the Industria gala is the perfect opportunity to do so. Apply for this committee and you will be able to organize the event for 450 fellow students! You will be able to pick a gorgeous location and make the event your own success in the DIES week of Industria.
Bata
Duration: February – May
Time Effort: 1 hours per week
Who: All students
Every year Industria participates in this famous relay competition. The Batavierenrace is one of the biggest student events in Europe and definitely an awesome event to participate in. Through multiple stages, the relay teams will run from Nijmegen to Enschede, finishing on the UT Campus. Afterwards, there is a huge student party on the festival terrain of the campus. Do you want to be part of the organization of this amazing weekend?
Induskia
Duration: March – February
Time Effort: 1-2 hours per week
Who: All students
Do you want to take part in organizing the best skiing trip of the year for 70 students? In February 2021 a new edition of Induskia will take place. Are you a skier/boarder and want to join? Or are you just a big fan of Après Ski? Subscribe now for this committee!
ESTIEM – Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training Event
Duration: February – May
Time Effort: 2 hours per week
Who: 2nd year onwards
Lean Six Sigma is an improvement methodology that is internationally recognized and used in many corporations. ESTIEM offers its participants to obtain these skills on a Green Belt level. In the fourth quarter we will organize a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training Event in Eindhoven for 20 European participants.
