The new committees for Q1+Q2 will soon start. Do you wish to develop your organizational skills, get to learn new people and make new friends, add value to Industria and help organize great events for other students? Then make sure to apply for a committee!

Most committees will take around 1-2 hours a week, and you will form great connections with the other committee members. If you have any questions about doing a committee, you can always ask the board for more information!

• Carnaval Activity Week
• Target group/year:  All students
• Duration:                October – February
• (Time: ± 2 hours per week + Carnaval)

Do you like to celebrate Carnaval and do you like to organise events? Each year 20-30 European Industrial Engineering students visit Eindhoven to have the Carnaval Experience. You will organise a week in which you show them ‘the Dutch culture’. Together with the committee and many others, you show international students how Carnaval should be celebrated!

• Parents day
• Duration: September-March
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: First year students 

 Every year the parents of the first year Industrial Engineering students come to the TU/e to see where their child is studying. The parents will see what a day as a student looks like. Do you want to show the parents where you spent your time? Sign up now! 

• Freshman Committee 
• Duration: September-July
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: First year students 

 The Freshman Committee organizes several activities for first year students during the year. You can choose what kind of activity will take place. The Freshman Committee also has the opportunity to organize two drinks in The Villa at Thursday afternoon, the perfect opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of our pub! 

• Bachelor Study Club 
• Duration: September-July
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: BSc students 

The Bachelor Study Club, more commonly known as the BSC, organizes a number of career events for bachelor students. These events range from the Case Evening to company visits. 

• Study Council 1 
• Duration: September-June    
• Time: ± 2 meetings per quartile 
• Target group: First year students 

 As a member of the Study Council 1 you keep track of the quality of the education. You have two meetings per quarter in which you evaluate courses with the commissioner of education of Industria. Apply and let your voice be heard!  

• F.A.C.U.L.T.I. 
• Duration: September-July   
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: First year students 

The F.A.C.U.L.T.I. committee organizes three big parties and a pub crawl in a different city every year. Do you like to party and want to organize these parties for the whole TU/e? Join the F.A.C.U.L.T.I. committee now! 

• SCOPE  
• Duration: Continuous    
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: All students 

Our magazine the SCOPE is looking for editors! Write articles and interview companies such as ASML, AME, Foot Locker, and DPD. We are also looking for new people in the layout and photography section. Are you creative and would you like to improve your InDesign, Illustrator or photography skills? Apply now! No prior knowledge required.  

• Belgium Trip 
• Duration: September-March   
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: First year students 

The Belgium Trip is a committee which organizes a trip for all first year students of Industrial Engineering. This trip includes a company visit, a fun activity, and a pub crawl. Do you want to organize this trip and would like to determine the program? Apply now for the Belgium Trip committee! 

• PromoCie 
• Duration: Continuous    
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: All students 

Do you have an affinity with promotion, marketing and design? Are you experienced with Photoshop or InDesign, or are you willing to learn the ins and outs of these design tools? As part of the promotional team you will be responsible for the design of posters & flyers, promote events, control social media channels and ensure that all Industria’s promotional channels look stunning. Are you the creative type that is not scared to try something new? Then the PromoCie is exactly something for you! 

• ICT committee 
• Duration: Continuous    
• Time: ± 2 hours per week 
• Target group: All students 

 The ICT committee is an ongoing committee which takes care of all ICT related tasks for Industria, for example, the beautiful website you are visiting right now! Multiple new projects will be started in the coming year, therefore we are looking for enthusiastic new members.
