Are you interested in joining a three-week study trip to Japan and Taiwan (the biggest study trip of Eindhoven!)? Then make sure to join the International Research Project (IRP)!

The International Research Project aims to provide students with the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about a subject of research that suits their interests and education. In addition, the IRP enables students to learn about different cultures and acquire international experience. The research starts in The Netherlands with a research project at a company for every student and ends with a three-week trip in the summer of 2025. The total cost of joining the (all-inclusive!) trip, participant activities, participant weekend, and Masterclass will only cost 1500 euros!

The application procedure for joining the trip is as follows:

1. Send your application to chairman.IRP@industria.tue.nl before the deadline of Friday, September 27th 23:59. Your application must include:
   • A motivation letter (max 2 A4), describing for example:
     1. Why you would like to join IRP
     2. Why you are a good fit to join IRP
     3. How you fit in a group
     4. Anything else you think we should know about you!
   • Your CV
   • Your extra-curricular experiences (committee, board, projects, etc.)
   • Your sub-committee top 3 with elaboration
2. If more than 20 applications are received, a pre-selection will be made based on the application forms mentioned above. Applicants will be informed about this on September 29th the latest.
3. If you have been invited for an interview, these will take place from September 30th to October 4th. Please make sure to have a flexible schedule during these days!
4. The final selection of 15 participants will be announced on October 11th.

Finally, to ensure you are eligible to join, please carefully review the following criteria one final time. You are:

• Currently a student of the (pre-)master program Operations Management & Logistics, Innovation Management, Data Science & Entrepreneurship or Manufacturing Systems Engineering
• OR planning to start any of these masters (not premaster!) in February 2025
