Event Navigation

Unfortunately, Company Tour was canceled this year because of the corona virus. However, we have the perfect replacement for all students! Nobody less than Tom Coronel will give a live lecture and Q&A. Tom Coronel is a Dutch racing driver who raced a lot of international races. His biggest success was the championship of the Formule 3 in 1997. He also participated in the Dakar-rally in Argentine and Chili. He also participates in a lot of tv-shows, such as AutoXperience, Formule-1 talk shows and Red Bull air race.

But what is the connection to Industrial Engineering? Well, Tom is not only a racing driver but also an entrepreneur. He is co-owner of a lot of go-kart tracks, the Dakar-Project and Coronel sports. But his main field is eCommerce, where he owns multiple web shops.

In his lecture he tells about his racing experience and about him being an entrepreneur. He will also tell about the similarities of the two and about the common risks.

After the lecture there is time to have a beer and enjoy an online drink (only for second years)!
