A day in the life of an Associate
The senior demand planner will be part of the demand planning team, reporting to the demand planning manager. The purpose of this job is to enable best product availability possible to the Dutch customers for our brands. This via creating an optimal demand forecast, excellence in execution of activities from a logistics point of view, ensuring optimal stock levels and excellent supply chain coordination from factories to the market warehouse.

As the senior of the demand planning team you drive role model behavior and synergy between Confectionary and Petcare demand planning. You drive planning capability and processes in the demand planning team, and you stimulate the collaboration with product supply and all (regional) stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create an accurate and agreed demand forecast (rolling plan for 0-24 periods) for Chocolate items of the NL market to ensure demand visibility and appropriate decision making.
• Close co-operation with Supply, Marketing, Sales and S&F.
• Close contact with factories and regional supply teams, about long term demand, key activities and supply constraints/quotas.
• Lead the supply activities related to the implementation of new products, assortment changes and promotional events.
• Act as co-pilot in sales forecasting process.
• Participant in the DMR.
• Challenge Marketing & Sales plans in order to enable excellence in execution, lowest cost and lean assortment.
• Play an important/key role in the S&OP+ cycle to ensure excellence in execution of the 3-24 periods activity plan.
• Take the lead in teammeetings to drive our supply KPI’s: BIAS, SFA, CSL, NQC, Stock cover and value.

What are we looking for?
Minimum qualifications
• University degree
• Minimal 2 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Sales or Marketing
• 5 day work week

Key skills required
• Able and willing to develop further in the organization
• Good in building relationships within the team, with local departments and with supply-sites
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in Dutch and English
• JDA/APOLLO/ORION knowledge
