Carnaval Activity Week

There is no better party in Eindhoven than carnaval! To show this amazing week to everyone, each year 15 European Industrial Engineering and Management students are invited to join us in celebrating carnaval. During the week we let them experience the Dutch beer culture and we show them around in the beautiful city of Eindhoven. The Carnaval Activity Week is a great opportunity to organize a week full of fun activities and get to know fellow European students!
Hitchhike
Do you love travelling and are you up for a challenge?
Then the hitchhike is the perfect event for you. During this weekend, you will
know your final destination. However, you will have to find a way to get there
yourself. When arrived at the destination, a great weekend is ahead. Exploring
the city, going out and having fun with your fellow Industria members, it’s all
included in the hitchhike.
Intercultural night
The intercultural nights are based on the international nights, which is an ESTIEM tradition that has been recreated as an event for students in Eindhoven. Every intercultural night a couple of countries are chosen to be represented, in order to celebrate the different cultures of members of Industria. During this evening special drinks, foods and traditions are shared with others. In addition to all that, you can meet fellow students that you might not see at other events!
Lean SIx Sigma
Lean Six Sigma is a globally used methodology for quality improvement and project management for problem-solving and is all about process and performance improvement. It is a methodology that relies on collaborative team effort to improve performance by systematically removing waste and reducing variation and can be used in a wide variety of industries and operations. During this course you will be able to obtain a Lean Six Sigma Green belt, which is an internationally recognized certificate proving your knowledge of the method. Each year Industria members have the unique opportunity to participate in this course. Moreover, in order to clear up your mind after a course day there are fun activities organized in the evening.
